Remote Control Toys Can Give Idle Time Relaxation - A Break From Stress - For Our Deployed Soldier

Do you know someone who serves our country? Do you have a family member or other loved one stationed overseas, protecting our freedom?

How do they spend their off-duty time? How do they relax when they come off patrol? How do they wind down from the stress of constantly watching for roadside traps, and hostile attacks?

Remote control toys provide excellent opportunities for giving our soldiers relaxing downtime, and playtime activity to relieve the stress when they get time to relax their guard.

Why not get together with the family members of the military personnel your loved one serves with, and create a coordinated gift project.

You can give our heroes quite a pleasant surprise.

Each family should have an idea of which particular radio control models are best suited for their soldier, sailor, or airman.

You have plenty of different toys to choose from. Decide if RC construction equipment, cars, trucks, boats, airplanes, helicopters, or buggies appeals to your warrior. Maybe she or he will prefer a naval ship, blimp, tank, jet plane, fighter plane, or military helicopter.

Have each family buy the toy for their military member, and make sure everyone has a list of toys purchased.

Once you know all the vehicle styles your groups of families will send, decide on a specific date to mail the toys so the military group gets their remote control vehicles at the same time.

Make the gift even more special with an added suggestion for the troops. Before packing the radio control toy for shipping have each family create an RC project, and include it in a letter with the model.

One family might design a racetrack layout for the group to build. Another family might draw a blueprint for a town or city. Other projects can include RC events such as air shows, races, hill climbs, and regattas.

When you choose the toys make sure you consider the environmental conditions where the troops will operate their models.

In desert areas make sure you get radio control models built to withstand dust and grit. Humid, muddy conditions require vehicles with similar protection. Manufacturers design many RC boats to operate only in fresh water, salt water quickly attacks the working parts of those boats.

There's nothing like a care package from home to lift the spirits of our military heroes. Consider what joy you'll give them when they all get gifts of radio control toys, and project ideas, mailed to arrive at the same time.

Your coordinated surprise of remote control toys will give your fighting loved ones relief from the stress their job piles on them - and hours of fun too.
